Our Story
From 2014 to Today
Geoponet began its journey in 2014 as an internet café at Ada in Koforidua, Eastern Region of Ghana, with approximately 17 computers providing customers with internet access and digital services.
At the time, internet access was increasingly essential for communication, education, business, research and everyday life. Geoponet recognised this opportunity and sought to make internet access more available in the community — introducing unlimited Wi-Fi connectivity and community hotspot services so people could connect with their own devices beyond the café.
Printing and related services were provided from time to time along the way, but printing is not positioned as a core business division today.
As customer needs changed and new opportunities emerged, Geoponet expanded beyond connectivity into renewable energy, gas engineering, multimedia and consumer products. Today the company builds on that 2014 foundation while pursuing sustainable growth, innovation and a wider market — most recently with GEO ULTRA SOFT, a premium toilet-roll product now in the Ghanaian market.
